OUR STORY
After years blessed as a stay-at-home mom, Lara began exploring the next chapter of her career. Several impactful people in her life suggested that she should consider real estate. “It was appealing to me – I love people, I like details, and I’ve always had interest in homes.” Her first 5 years in Real Estate were spent learning, questioning, and growing as she advocated for clients during their real estate transaction as a supporting agent. The exposure to unique situations, both challenging and rewarding, was priceless. She met incredible people, made dear friends, and was able to make a difference in their story by helping them through their transitions. In 2015 Lara stepped out and launched her own real estate business. The team grew in 2017 when Becca joined the team and then again in 2019 with the addition of Sarah! The years since have allowed for a symbiotic team to develop where each person’s talents are celebrated and used in service to our clients in thoughtful and effective ways. We work together to create a seamless experience from start to finish rooted in relationship, expertise, and a deep care for those we serve. OUR SERVICES
- Listing Your Home: Taking time to stage and prepare your home for listing can save you significant time and money. We will guide you as we collaborate on which projects should be completed prior to listing to make your house look its very best, allowing us to get the highest market value in the shortest time. We will connect you to local trustworthy vendors who can help you to complete the projects you have with skill and expertise. All of our listings include complimentary staging and professional photography. For properties where the layout, surrounding land, or high potential for an out-of-town buyer calls for it, we also provide 3D Matterport models and drone footage.
- Buying a Home: Your home is a special place, and your investment needs to be handled with wisdom and professionalism. From initial consultation to closing, our goal is to make your journey as enjoyable and seamless as possible. We will guide you as we consider location, price and priorities. When appropriate, we will implement strategies to give you the best chance of winning in a multiple offer situation. Our market expertise will serve to advise you on a purchase that is wise and also a place you are excited to call home.
- Town Tours: We provide custom town tours for incoming candidates at Penn State University and other local companies. Your candidates will receive a warm welcome to the community, receive a driving tour of neighborhoods of interest, learn about our local market, benefits of living in this area, and individually customized information regarding schools, social opportunities, and general way of life in Happy Valley. Tours are free of charge; the introduction is thanks enough.
- Out of Town Buyers: Each year we help buyers purchase homes from a distance, whether across the country or the world. If you are not able to tour homes in person, you need not worry because we are experts in guiding you through the process virtually. Our advocacy includes initial consultation, virtual/video tours, insights on pros and cons and our opinion of value both now and in the future. Our standards are high and our eyes (and noses) are keen to point out all of the strengths and weaknesses that you might not see over photos so you are fully empowered and informed to make a good decision. We love guiding clients through their buying journey, even when it isn't a traditional process, and can't wait to welcome you to Happy Valley when you arrive for move in!
